seeing as how i havent update for a long time, in addition to not keeping up with everyone else's lives... haha because of the stupid stupid tests, which im sure to fail... ok dun think about it now. i shall recap the happy occasions of the week right before the exams (we need to have a life even if tests are approaching u know... :)

let's start with LIN INN'S BIRTHDAY! gal, u're older now gotta be more mature and sensitive ok.... haha

it was so reassuring to see u guys, i needed that so badly n nic, thanks for calling up, we were pleasantly n heartily surprised n touched i might add (on inn's part too). so the remaining 3 gals, jean inn and me went over to cathay to pick up her birthday present -which she picked out. n then walked over to giraffe for dinner and drinks. the place is so cool, i love it n will def go back there some time soon. the entrance had this glass floor, where u could see the water beneath u and sofas around so u could overlook the water. haha romantic. we went to the 2nd floor for dinner. 1 complain tho: the menu is major limited, like only 10 dishes? how do u open a restaurant with only a 1 page menu? but their drink selection is good. which was essentially the best part.

after dinner, we went out on the balcony where there were sofas, we picked a mighty good location, overlooking plaza sing, n in the distance could even see meridien shopping centre. despite the rowdy boys near us (whom 1 of them picked up jean!) haha, we had a super good time. chatting about the past, present and future, and just emotionally hugging each other... nic we really missed u. wasn quite the same, i think u'd like the place. after tt, we hung around istana park near the water to count down to inn's birthday... it was really fun. inn i hope u enjoyed urself. happy birthday again.

so on to the following day which also was pretty exciting... MINT MUSEUM'S OFFICAL OPENING! haha my daddy's big day. i am so proud of my dad, he is simply just amazing. his long-live dream finally fulfilled with the honour of having Minister George Yeo to grace the occasion. it was simply amazing. tho i was pretty much in the background the entire night, it was fun watching the entire event unfold and all the gears ("cleaned for so long just for this evening) put into motion. den i saw einstein's painting, pretty amazing stuff too, really beautiful. livens up the entire place.

major mingling by my mum and dad with all the guests and even Minister Yeo's wife... i also met up with old friends, whom i have not had the chance of visiting recently - joycelyn glenn randolph richard jen garry marcus ronson ron mandy frankson uncle kelvin. really nice feeling to see so many familiar faces. n the museum herself really looked beautiful tt night with the red carpet new shop layout. it was a glittery evening i wld nv forget. my dad too.

so many guests too - a lot of daddy's friends turned up tog with the naomi hotel boss (he must be impressed, which is impt to rake in business :) i think a picture paints a thousand words so the pictures in the album would speak for themselves. so... congratulations daddy.

the next few days in school were as per normal. not forgetting of course, YUSRINA'S BIRTHDAY! y is everyone's birthday tt week, even shawn's birthday. anws, we as in the anat group gave her a surprise birthday cake n present tt day! she's quite blur actually, i thought it was pretty obvious we were up to something, but she didnt guess it. i mean, everyone was crowding around the table next to her like in prepartation of sth, but she was none the wiser. only complain was pei shan n i had to go NUH to get candles n a knife, n e stupid bengawan solo refused to sell us candles, in the end we had to buy a small piece of cake just to get those candles (mathew bought the cake already). so everyone wished her a happy birthday - everyone i mean including like cindy, amanda, bingcheng, gabriel, melvin etc... n the cake does not look like a placenta... sheesh gerard thinks weird. i hope she had fun tt day, tho everyone was stressed bcos it was near to the CAs but it was like a small silver lining amidst the grey clouds....

n so we also wished prof raj goodbye the next day pretty sad, he's a good tutor n he sorta helped our anat group bond more too. it was fun learning from him, i hope he had fun teaching us. so we took a group shot. we seemed to be taking a lot of group shots lately, with the recent one with our pbl tutor too (which gerard has failed to send everyone!). i hope our anat group get closer, i think e guys r really fun pple, just tt everyone is busy with their cliques to actually hang out. hope the chalet e coming week goes thru. so.... the rest of the week is history (cos it was just studying at home everyday, n it was so unproductive...)

fast forward to post spots anat outing - which was really fun too. we went to vivo city to watch 300. the movie is nice! apart from the sex, half naked men with identically buff bodies, old lechers, lesbians kissing and the traitor hunchback, the movie was really nice. the cinematography was good, e storyline was the bare essentials but the moral of the story was good. just like most war movies, i love war movies!! (watched hotel rwanda tt night too, another really good film) we makan-ed at burger king b4 tt, just chilled out n chat-ted, gave up a third of my swiss mushroom burger n fries to mathew, haha boy is he a rubbish dump. to kill the time b4 the movie, we went to toys r us! haha it was fun too, boy r we still childish. there was a cute doctor outfit!!!!

den cindy sportingly hoola-hooped for us. she's really a very nice person. course gerard went round looking for his yoda star wars lego, haha n e rest of us were just fooling around with the toys. there was a breast pump at the parents section! hahahaha.....gosh dun u just feel so old now, we were busying trying to figure out how the mechanism of the toys worked, really than just simply enjoying the toy. sign of aging if u ask me.

cos after the movie, some pple left. it was just me, peishan, cindy, amanda, damian, zhiyong bingcheng and gerard left who went to marche for dinner. fruit crepe for 7.60 bucks which was so pathetic. but the ambience was good cos we were given seats in this hut-like area, where it felt like we were on the inside of a hunter's hut. :) also took a shot outside the restaurant in front of a red cow, haha the stupidest thing was - the person whom we got to photograph us, her bf crashed e photograph in the background with his hands raised up. he's so unnecessary in the shot lor. yup, after went home to enjoy wat i thought wld be sleep, only to be forced by my sis to watch hotel rwanda. but it was a really good film so it was worth it.

den there was today, which was also fun. it was great to meet up with lydia and bowei. only prob was my stupid camera ran out of battery, lucky leed took. hope she sends them to me soon, they were really crappy shots. haha with me n my sniggering n with them n their imitating my sniggering. we went to watch blood and chocolate... it SUCKS!!! tho the guy in the show was cute (the prince from ella enchanted) it totally isnt enough to make up for the show. i thought it'd be good cos it was from the director of underworld. boy was i disappointed. leed even wanted to watch another movie after tt to make up for it. we wanted to watch storm the yard, i heard it was good. unfortunately, e timing was off. n e other 2 had to go to work n school, so we just went over to the paragon basement to chill n chat.

n take random dumb photos to make ourselves look like complete idiots. but it was fun. hee. we then migrated to star bucks for a more conducive chatting environment n just spoke about stuff- updates on our lives. n how ben ding also worries about retaining in med, shit man i hope i dun retain. anws, forget abt it... just spoke abt everything and everyone, ex-classmates n how their lives were. was pretty sad when leed commented on how we met up so few times. she said sth like, "when was the last time we met up? last yr in march right? omg, tts like a yr ago." (class outings dun count, n bw doesnt really care fo class outings anw.) so yeah, im gonna make an effort to call those 2 out more often when i can n have the chance to... HAPPY BIRHTDAY LYDIA IN ADVANCE! oh yes, HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHI YING! haha, cant believe bowei n i were trying to guess leed's birthday, wat horrible frens we are. ill rmb to msg her this coming week to wish her.

n so the story of my life, as told in 1 night. pretty much cramped all the activites in 1 blog. it was a pity i couldnt individually talk about them after they happened, cos the emotions at tt time wld have been extremely different. esp inn's birthday and the museum opening. hopefully the pictures speak for themselves. there are more shots in the photo albums, cheers to picasa! they have this iphoto function where i can immediately upload to the net from my photo library, though i cant transfer videos. a pity, cos i got some vids to put up n lazy to find out alternatives to doing tt.

tml another day, going out to celebrate shawn's birthday. hope it'll be fun. :)
