continuation....

haha this is a continuation of the previous blog, however, it is 3.07am now and just suddenly in the mood to blog (this usually occurs at the strangest hours and when i've got new photos to upload! and of course, admittedly, had enough fun to "induce" me to blog about it).

as mentioned above (or in the previous blog), i came back an hour and a half ago from an outing with leed and bw, but first, i'd like to recap the week, which has been pretty fun to be honest, considering i thought post medicamp would mean nothing to do... there was of course HARRY POTTER! but i have most unfortunately, not finished the book, not for anything else but simply because i decided to re-read the 6th book and promptly felt that it would be unfair to make my maid wait for me to finish the 6th AND 7th book just so that she may start on the 7th book, so i chose to let her read it first (but of course, it's courtesy). she's apparently not done with it yet, and i finished my 6th book like on monday, so i had to wait... still waiting actually. haha, but fortunately for me, there were enough activities outside to keep me occupied so i didnt really have to compete with her for the book (i dun really like pressurising pple). hence, my lack of any knowledge with regards to the 7th book, im only at like page 92.

the pics below are random pics from a week ago, didnt bother to put them up but since ive updated my iphoto lib and its pretty easy to sync picasa to iphoto...:

pretty cool hp function where i can fuse pics... that's my bro before he left for new york for his attachment. i hope he's ok. i miss him and i hope he can tide through this tough time...

this is of course, samuel and i. i cant really remember if the gals took many pics that night at nic's place but they're def not with me... sigh, nic's also left me now. everyone is leaving me behind in singapore. :(

frankly this is the only photo of medicamp i have... wahahaha, trina took a pic of peishan at the hawker centre at changi village and this is pretty much the result. hahahaha

ok this is lame, i took this pic because tt french manicure cost me 15 bucks, prob my 1st and my last time doing it. can diy....

oh yes, how can i forget the hike zhenwei, zhiyong, peishan and i went on, to bukit timah hill. it took 2 hours only and luckily it didnt rain. the pics are mostly with zhenwei, at least the pics with pple inside, haha mine are just those of monkey and nature. had tim sum at turf city after that (half price! woot!) and damian joined us. in a strange twist of picking places to go, zhiyong damian peishan n i decided to go ikea to walk around. haha, we had fun clowning around. dinner was deeeeeelicious, as usual, my meatballs topped with jam, not forgetting the fried oily unhealthy chicken wings too. haha, i think i put on weight beyond comprehension already.

note, the following pics are taken from t-shirts at queensway, which were most interesting because they reminded me of friends...

though i wun mention who. haha.

then there was lijia's 21st birthday party on tuesday, which was a blast! couple of pple were there: yao (duh), mao, bel, john, shawn, yan yi, jianglei, jay, denise, kal, mao's jc and sec frens etc. course we started in the afternoon because it was meant as a surprise party, we had to put up the decor... the venue was at aruanda country club near downtown east (really nice place to chill). the theme was APPLES! because mao likes apples, and we all had to wear green or red, wahahha. pretty comical actually. we decorated the place with apples too... and we pretty much finished the scrap book meant for her, which included a lot of photographs, ranging from those with her mum, to kkk pics, to penang pics, to dunman pics etc. we had bbq that night with cheesy prawns, chicken wings (which im pretty good at skewering now... dun believe ask yao, im his apprentice haha), satay, garlic bread! haha, it was yummy and one of the few bbqs where i didnt get diarrhoea after. then we played the usual drinking games: i never... haha the game where each person has to say "i never ... etc" and if you did do whatever that person says, then you have to drink. haha, i think jianglei mixed the drink so it was pretty good. this is really a week for 1st (for e.g. i was earlier than leed and bw today!) : i went home pretty early around 1.30am, mostly because yanyi's bf came to pick her up, so i decided to leave with her. the pics aint with me, they're with kal and denise... so they prob wun be up until a bit later. :( haha

wednesday was mambo. with inn, ning and a couple of their friends and was mentioned in the previous post (blogged from my phone). ning's top was nice! act, inn's top was also nice! haha...

(magnified photo of the previous one blogged)

though the company was .... ermm let's just say, a bit uncomfortable, its mostly because im not that into mambo. though the offer by bw to go with jw and kyrin next wed is pretty enticing... haha, we'll see next week, never clubbed with those 2 boys before either haha.

wah, its 3.41am already. haha, anyways, im nocturnal so i can carry on blogging about today. i never really realised it, but i actually missed leed and bw quite a bit because just being with them today was so therapeutic. we headed down to the jap restaurant at emerald hill, incidentally near my dad's place 18 emerald hill (where the gals and my anat grp bunked at previously). ive been there loads of time before but never tried the buffet, usually i eat ala carte. dinner added up to 40 bucks haha ex right... the 40 bucks included the dinner (about 30) and sake! wow, i never knew sake was so nice, we had the hot type and it wasn too strong, it was just right actually. haha and had tons of sashimi and of course the other 2 couldnt get enough of unagi... soft shell crab, bean curd, beef chicken teriyaki, octopus, jellyfish, oyster, scallop, wow i seriously never knew i had so much room it that section of the GIT haha. we then bussed down to clarke quay (too bad bw didnt bring the car though we did briefly contemplate the possiblity of him returning home to fetch it but in the end, bus 124 sufficed)

enlightened sorta hit us today when we realised clarke quay, mohamed sultan and zouk were all within walking distance. really. i never knew havelock road, robertson quay and copthorne hotel were so near each other. anyways, we ended up in brewerkz. nice beer, though im not a terribly big beer fan (though i cant say the same for bw). golden ale is pretty good, the most popular in fact so it wasnt a bad choice. we got the sample set of all beer drafts for 10 bucks:

then there were the 3 of our drinks. mine was golden ale, leed's was raspberry while bw was.. hmm, i dun remember. haha, but it was relatively stronger.

leed and i!

me and my golden ale!

seriously the most random photo in my cam... bet you cant tell what the hell it is. it is bw's bloody chin taken from the bottom!!! sometimes he can be soooo weeeird....

that's the weirdo:

:) :) :) i like this pic.

generally a recommended place, esp for guys who go for beer (jia lun would prob like it) though it aint my cup of tea (no pun intended). our general plan of going to cafe iguana after 12 for cheaper margaritas were pretty much dashed as our bellies have heavily hinted to our brains that they cant take too much more. the idea was to walk round clarke quay and head back for more after, but 60 bucks (40 bucks for dinner and 20 bucks for beer) was sufficiently pocket-wrenching. but clarke quay is really beautiful at night, esp when there are no pple puking or not too many pubbers. we walked all the way to robertson quay in fact, bypassing arena (which i have decided to tell sam to go ahead because it's way better than mos sponsorship). there was no cover charge BUT bw had to be wearing berms so we couldnt go in. we walked all the way to butterfactory too... haha, cos i requested to see all these places and the other 2 kindly obliged. :) :) :) :) though i must say the entrance to butter factory is most disappointing, but i do not know about the inside, so let's not jump to conclusions. the bridge near butter fact (which is supposed to be a national monument but i have no idea what is its name), all i can describe is it looks like a giant inflated banana boat taken from some theme park. yup, that sums it up. dun believe, see for yourself:

dun they look eerie? haha

cheers to bw's long arms!

i picked the pink pillars to take photo with :)

leed picked the red ones...

yup.... it was plain nonsense fun.... we did want to go the oxygen bar but unfortuately, the age limit for guys is 25, and gals 22. not that it deters us, but we were def not dressed to look that age, with me in shorts and bw in berms, def no way we'll be allowed in. so the next time we go out, it's precisely where we're going, though i have to spice up my imagination and figure out creative ways to make myself (who already ordinarily looks younger than the age she really is) look 2 years older than i am. haha....... we'll see. :) :) :)

my liver is wasted this week man. lijia party drank, mambo drank, brewerkz drank, prob sat night timbre also drinking. pls dun have liver failure when i grow up.

:) nice week. no working for me. no no. haha.
