New Year Resolutions
My New Year Resolutions:
1. Spend more time with my sister (esp when she requests for badminton).
2. Spend more time with my mum and dad/help out more at the museum, maybe do graphic work for them.
3. STUDY HARDER ie play less/club less/drink less/engage in healthier forms of play e.g. pick up blading.
4. Save more money/shop less.
5. Set aside time for simple pleasures of life that I have grossly neglected, e.g. curling up in bed reading a good book, with the air-con blasting beside me. :)
6. Do more community work.
7. Make more new friends in and out of med/make closer friends from the 1s I already have.
8. Improve my general knowledge (I'm not just referring to newspaper articles, but politically speaking.)
9. Go mass more often (miss the mass in ij last time).
Actually 2007 was a pretty good year for me. Year for a few "1st times": 1st time I went backpacking budget with friends to Europe (Vietnam wasn't counted because we had the teachers, though they both were equally fun trips). Some of the memories from there will never be forgotten. 1st time I drove too. 1st time i jet-skiied! haha. :) 1st time I actually actively opened up to girls (not in my clique obviously) since jc and not regretting it. (Although at some points, I did)
Some regrets: not actively returning to Mint to visit the staff (Marcus popped by the house yesterday and I realised how much I missed him and everyone else at Mint, should probably meet up with Joycelyn soon), not actively returning to NUH to visit old colleagues too, though now I think going back would seem a bit strange after such a long absence. Among other things... ...
Things to look out for/be sad about in the new year: Clinicals! Oh man, I'm so scared of it, my knowledge is so inadequate. Jean leaving me behind (in addition to Nic already doing that). My bro not coming back until August (longest break from Singapore ever). Hopefully 2008 will be a new year for many "1sts" too! :) It'll be my 1st and only 21st! haha.
I think I should get back to Microb so that I can fufil my 3rd resolution :)
Here's to a good 2008!
