rambling ... 27 dresses is sweet

i'm trailing off.... sleepy. haha but still hanging onto my "Monk" series. nice to watch, not terribly addictive but semi-intellectual to watch. no heroes around for now, so i have to make do. anws, i watched 27 dresses today with peishan, yus and yijing. it's such a sweet movie, really. unfortunately, only the kind that women would watch. which brings to mind, the reason for the different wiring in men and women. why is it women find it so heartwarming and tingly all over to watch such a chick flick while men not only cringe at the sound of such a plot but the only reason they put up with laying their sights on it in the 1st place is bcos their gfs forced them to. haha, isn't that sad and amusing at the same time. it just looks like men and women look for different things in a relationship - uh huh and hollywood does tend to portray an idealistic picture of love until even i sometimes think it's far-fetched (haha, and that's saying something). on the whole, despite their physical incompatibility, james marsden and katherine heigl do share a good chemistry onscreen and if there's anything i've learnt from the movie, size doesn't count for a thing and love does turn up in the most unexpected places. i wonder what floats across the minds of men when they watch it? "why did i pay $9.50 for this crap?" or "i dun get why women like this kinda movie" or "do girls really fantasize of their ideal love life as like that?" haha.... it's really funny actually. but anyhow, this kinda movie always makes me happy, irregardless of whether i am in a relationship or not, it just gives a good tingling vibe to it. maybe it's the same feeling you get when you see compatible couples get together (esp when you know the guy and girl and you know they're just made for each other). haha, i'm like in lala land now while i can afford to be stress-free. :) going back to my Monk show.
